May 2019 Monthly Roundup

May sees ecommerce take-up in significant sectors of the industry through NetDirector® Auto-e.

May saw our next-generation ecommerce platform, NetDirector® Auto-e, adopted by a manufacturer network, major retail groups, and an independent dealer. These are the three dominant sectors of automotive retail, and it says a lot for the universal appeal of both our platform and ecommerce in general within the industry. Overall, we saw twenty-three site launches in May. Here are our highlights.

Croyland Car Megastore is the first independent dealer to adopt NetDirector® Auto-e and offer a full end-to-end online purchase path to their customers. Established in 1989, they are based in Rushden, Northamptonshire, and offer an ever-changing choice of carefully selected quality used vehicles.

“GForces has helped us remove the typical barriers to buying online, and we can now offer our customers even more choice about how and when they buy their car.”

Mark Swindells, General Manager, Croyland Car Megastore

Based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, Sterling Motors is proud of the long-running relationships they have with their customers and the stunning range of models from all manufacturers they source for them. We’re extremely pleased to welcome them to the NetDirector® family of websites, and were very happy to see a full five out of five from them in our customer satisfaction survey.

Chapel Car Sales is based in Faversham, and take pride in offering the highest quality used cars to customers throughout Kent and the south east. Their vision is to provide an unforgettable car buying experience by providing a comprehensive overall “peace of mind” package of customer service and quality vehicle care.

“The GForces team are all helpful and knowledgeable and I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship.”

Infiniti Motor Group has launched a new, dedicated online sales facility called “Buy Online”. They are the first OEM network to adopt our NetDirector® Auto-e ecommerce platform, meaning their customers will now benefit from real-time part exchange valuations, finance tools with immediate credit decisions (powered by Alphera), digital signing of agreements, and secure online payment processing.

With a reputation as expansive as their experience, Grays of Holbeach is a Lincolnshire based Mitsubishi dealership and family-owned business that has been operating since 1978. They were also kind enough to give us full scores in our customer satisfaction survey for their new website.

Tates is a long-standing client that has added Peugeot to their dedicated aftersales offering. The newly opened facility is based in Portslade, East Sussex. Equipped with the latest state-of-the-art tools, the workshop can take on any job from scheduled servicing to major bodywork and SMART repairs.

“Again a first-class service. Special thanks to Mhairi (Project Manager) for all the help and assistance provided.”

Janine Hatcher, Marketing Manager, Tates

Another long-term client and one embracing full end-to-end ecommerce is Vantage Motor Group. All 25 sites managed by the group have migrated to NetDirector® Auto-e, offering their customers a new digital car buying experience that meets the increasing consumer demand for online vehicle sales.

Nearly half-way through the year as we are, it’s clear that buying and selling vehicles online is becoming more common, and much more expected by the market and consumers alike. We look forward to bringing you more highlights of our ecommerce-enabled website launches next month.
