January Monthly Roundup

January 2020 Roundup

January sees impressive New Year ecommerce growth in automotive, thanks to NetDirector® Auto-e

January is the month we associate with dark, cold nights, and perhaps a touch of the blues. It’s certainly a month we all get back to work after the Christmas break, and that certainly was the case for the teams at GForces. It seems appropriate that we launched twenty new NetDirector® websites in the first month of 2020. Here are our January highlights.

SMH Group is one of the largest independently owned motor groups in South Africa. They have an extensive network of dealerships across Johannesburg, and have partnered with providers and distributors in most major cities across the country. They’re now also part of a global network of leading retailers, with their new NetDirector® Auto-e website taking their digital dealership to a worldwide audience. As well as being one of our first launches for January, they also were one of the first to give us full scores for customer satisfaction.

With locations in Chatham and Tonbridge, Haywards Motor Group is one of Kent’s leading used car dealers, and offer authorised repair services for Peugeot and Renault vehicles. Their excellent selection of stock also includes Approved Peugeot vehicles. Haywards have embraced the flexibility of our NetDirector® Auto-e platform to meet the needs of their business, taking online deposits and full payments. They also have the option to upgrade to full ecommerce whenever consumer demand requires it.

Zawawi Trading Company LLC is the exclusive general distributor for the entire range of Mercedes-Benz cars and commercial vehicles in the Sultanate of Oman. They strive to provide the best in sales, service, and quality parts without compromise – so we’re extremely happy to see a full five out of five from them in our customer satisfaction survey.

Our MENA office has been working closely with MG Lebanon, as part of the MG Middle East programme. This is the seventh market within the region MG have joined, and our established partnership with the manufacturer has enabled us to maintain a consistent and engaging digital presence for the brand across each one.

From another long-standing partnership, the GM Middle East programme, our MENA office has also been pivotal in launching our first website for the GAC brand, through Al Jomaih. It boasts the dynamic design and functionality afforded it as standard by NetDirector® Auto-e, with the added benefit of Live Chat for optimised customer communication at any time.

Yeomans is an existing GForces client. Both their main group site, and that of Collins Honda has been migrated to NetDirector® Auto-e, with full end-to-end ecommerce enabled, including online finance applications and instant credit decision. During the project, they were especially impressed with our communication and professional and friendly attitude.

Another client to adopt the full ecommerce capabilities of NetDirector® Auto-e, is Wessex Garages. They have become a leading destination for car buyers across the South West, Wales, and beyond. They offer over three decades of experience, and dealerships with Nissan, Kia, Mazda, Hyundai, Renault and Dacia, as well as an unrivalled regional lineup of approved used vehicles.

“We feel the NetDirector® Auto-e platform is a comprehensive solution that has the flexibility to evolve with our company and complement our offline offering. We’ve identified ecommerce as being an essential component of our future business operations, and we know there is demand out there from consumers wishing to fully transact online.”

Jason Pritchard, Group Marketing Manager, Wessex Garages.

From independent dealers, to major retail groups and national distributors for global manufacturers, our January monthly roundup shows ecommerce is being embraced by every sector of the automotive industry. And, it’s being fed by consumer demand. You can catch up with our previous January roundups here and here. We look forward to bringing you more highlights next month.
