For the third time, GForces has made the London Stock Exchange’s list of 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain. This is the third time this report has been published, and it’s a great source of pride for us to once again be included in this prestigious selection of companies. In fact, GForces has been in all three reports – one of only 40 companies to have achieved this feat.
Making the list in itself is no easy task as the criteria are rigorous, and moreover as 99% of UK companies are SMEs, there is plenty of competition. To become one of the 1,000 companies to inspire Britain, GForces has had to demonstrate continued strong revenue growth that significantly outperforms our sector. And the IT sector really is a tough one to compete in, with just 55 such firms making the cut, going to show just how extraordinary our performance continues to be.
We’re also a stand-out company in the South East region, from which 148 companies were listed. Average revenue growth between 2011 and 2015 in the South East was 45%; we’re substantially above that figure. The fact that we operate in a number of international markets is also a point of differentiation for us. Just 11% of SMEs export their products, yet ours are used by major companies throughout the MENA region, and will soon be truly global.
Xavier Rolet, CEO of the London Stock Exchange Group, puts it very well when he states in the report; “The 1,000 companies highlighted in our report are growing at an average of 50% a year. Secondly, because high growth companies’ success tends to be based on innovation, rather than the strict cost control typical of large cap, the jobs they create are usually higher skilled and higher paid.”
It’s certainly true that GForces’ growth is based on our consistent drive to innovate new, exciting technology that enables our clients to run their businesses more effectively, and it’s our team of highly talented staff that makes this possible.
Being one of the 1,000 companies to inspire Britain among such a rich group of successful SMEs – for the third year running is hugely exciting to say the least. Throughout the year we will continue to innovate – to drive the digital dealership – and hopefully, to continue inspiring Britain.
