Colleague to represent Team GB in triathlon

Our Head of Production, Kevin Robins has been asked to represent Great Britain as an Age Group athlete at the ITU Triathlon World Championships in Auckland on October 21st, naturally he said yes.

This isn’t the first big achievement Kevin has accomplished in sports. He also broke the Guinness world record for the fastest time in an animal costume at the London Marathon in 2010. He managed to complete the marathon in 3 hours 30 minutes wearing a giant foam tiger head.

Kevin will be in the same triathlon race as GB elite favourites for the Gold in the men and women’s races in the London 2012 Olympics. Hopefully they’ll be a lot more famous by October!

With any big name sports there always comes sponsorship needs and although Kevin has already paid the £285 entry fee, unfortunately the flights, hotel and extras will cost a little over £2000.

Tribeca Sports are already interested but there’s plenty of room on the GBR kit… the rules for sponsorship show where logo’s and sponsorship go on the GB kit can be found below.
