May 24th is rapidly approaching and we’re already getting pretty excited about it because if you didn’t know (where have you been?!) it’s the Car Dealer Conference and Expo 2016. Taking place at Silverstone, this is the second CDX event, and despite 2015 being pretty epic, this year is shaping up to be even bigger and even better.
For our part as headline sponsors we’re going to be throwing a lot of effort into our space for the day. It’s going to be the most interactive, experiential stand we’ve ever built, with the aim being to provide an area for delegates to come and see and experience our products for themselves. We’re going to have people on hand to offer advice, and we’ll also have some of our expert marketers who’ll be happy to look at your current site and let you know easy steps you can take to improve it from an SEO perspective. Live demonstrations of some of our newest and most convenient products designed to make digital stock preparation easier – such as NetDirector 360 – make up a core part of our presence at CDX. Hopefully these will go to show just how far we, as an industry, have come in terms of how we display our businesses online, and the intelligence we can now use to better market them.
Our own Paul Hilton, Retail Sales Director, will be giving a seminar during the day which is shaping up to be a very engaging. He’ll be using real-life case studies to demonstrate how dealers should be valuing leads over visits, offering advice on how they can maximise them and also providing insight into where they might be losing them. How dealers can use the web tools to gain a greater advantage will also be a topic of the day, and hopefully delegates will be able to leave with an idea of what they can do to improve their own websites.
