We are proud to announce that for the second year running GForces have won the ‘outstanding employer contribution’ award for work experience students from the Kent Educational Business Partnership. We have been recognised for exceptional support in assisting the young people of Kent through work experience in the academic year 2010 – 2011. So far we have given work placements to twenty students and two internships, which are about to come to an end. With the completion of our building expansion we will have the facilities to take on more later in the year.
Scott Clarke did a two week work placement with us in the development team and provided us with some feedback on his experience.
At GForces we like to ensure that all of our placement students have a good, hands on experience and really get a feel for the working environment. You won’t be making the teas and coffees with us and did we mention we don’t have a photocopier either?!
Giles Smith, Managing Director of GForces comments:
“Investment in Kent’s young people is a responsibility we take seriously and are therefore delighted that our onsite training programme has been acknowledged so positively. It is clear from the work experience feedback received, that onsite training inspires and benefits student’s development beyond that of traditional means. We will continue to support the local economy and provide the much needed opportunities to the young people of Kent.”
