On May 23rd, nearly 3,000 delegates from over 100 organisations descended on Silverstone for the third CDX expo. This event, an exploration of the sector’s most innovative new technology, was created in 2015 by Car Dealer magazine and has already become a significant highlight on the UK automotive calendar. And unsurprisingly, CDX 17 turned out to be the most heavily attended expo yet.
GForces has been the event’s headline sponsor from its inception. As leaders in providing automotive digital technology, marketing, and creative services, CDX represents every aspect of our business; we take a great deal of pride in being associated with the biggest and best event of its kind in the UK.
The unprecedented number of delegates resulted in a constant stream of visitors (many unfamiliar to our products and services) to the GForces Hub. This gave us a great opportunity to show off our newer creations, such as NetDirector® Experience and the NetDirector® Vision App. We also took the opportunity to show potential clients what we could do by providing free SEO audits on request.
Other highlights included enlightening full panel discussions and workshops on the Car Dealer live stage, featuring representatives of some of the automotive industry’s biggest manufacturers and retail networks. Internet giants like Google, Facebook, and Instagram held workshops on enhancing digital experiences for car buyers, alongside independent dealers giving in-depth explanations of how important their services and customer impact was at local level.
