Today everyone all over the UK, including GForces donned their best crimbo knits to raise money for Save the Children. We had been looking forward to it all week and the turnout was huge. We managed to raise £115.24 as well as making our wardrobes that much more stylish in the process.
Save the Children run world-class programmes to save children’s lives and challenge world leaders to keep to their promises to give children a brighter future. Every single day they help children around the world to beat deadly illnesses and make sure they get the food they need to grow up healthy. The money we’ve raised today could buy 50 blankets for babies suffering with deadly pneumonia or pay for a course of emergency food supplements to save the life of three severely malnourished children.
