New Line Learning
We’ve continued to develop our involvement with Kent County Council’s Kent Works programme that aims to get schools working with commercial enterprises in a bid to bridge the gap between them.
It’s a long-term strategy of ours to not only do something positive for someone but also get these younger people into placement and hopefully end up employing them. Rather than have doing menial tasks we want to get them involved in client projects, sit in on meetings and get involved with genuine commercial work.
We sent a number of the GForces team round to various schools in Kent throughout the year and help students of all ages learn business orientated skills.
We do this voluntary service to offer opportunities for students to gain experience in a real professional environment. Students find social media second nature today and GForces want to show this tech-aware generation that something they love can be built into a career.
