Kicking off 2013 with a bang: AM Awards success for GForces

The evening of 20 February saw the great and the good of the UK automotive industry descend on the ICC in Birmingham for the prestigious AM Awards ceremony.  Happily for the GForces contingent, the journey up the M40 wasn’t a wasted one.

On the night, Mana Premiere Automobiles picked up the hotly-contested ‘Best Dealer Website’ award (sponsored by Razsor) for its NetDirector Auto site, which went live in December 2011 and has been delivering results ever since.  Best Dealer Website is a real ‘target’ award for us – Mana Premiere taking it home is a great honour and a worthy tribute to the hard work of both the GForces team and the guys at Mana Premiere.

Jeremy Bennett, Editor of AM Magazine, was full of praise for http://www.manapremiere.co.uk/, commenting, “Stand out points for the judges were numerous: customer reviews in a prominent position is a brave move, but responses to negative feedback are excellent – honest in accepting faults and apologising where necessary.  Live Chat is divided into locations and even if dialogue is re-routed to a central hub, it gives the user a more personal experience.  Staff were quick to respond too.  The finance calculator was an appealing function, in part because it wasn’t made too prominent.”

Judges also praised the site’s operation on mobile devices, the service booking function, and the integration of social media.

Other GForces clients also picked up plaudits from the judges.

We’re extremely happy for local dealer group, Lifestyle Europe, who were worthy winners of the ‘Best Marketing Campaign’, with Grants Seat being highly commended.  Lifestyle added to their haul, also taking the award for ‘Best Retail Group’ for up-to and including 10 sites.

Best dealership went to Peter Vardy for their Vauxhall dealership in Motherwell, and Peter himself picked up the award for ‘Personality of the year’, whilst the company’s training scheme was highly commended.  Bennetts Volkswagen picked up ‘Sales Team of the Year’, and Alex Lawrie Skoda were highly commended in this category.

In the current climate, it’s great to go to events like the AM Awards and see not only clients and associates of GForces, but the wider automotive industry rewarded for the hard work and effort that has gone in over the last 12 months.  Obviously, we’re ecstatic at our own victory, and we are looking forward to adding a few more trophies to the cabinet through 2013 and beyond.
