GForces’ partnership with Harwoods Group has proved to be a long and fruitful one. The large multi-franchise dealer’s readiness to try new online marketing strategies has reaped enormous benefits since the association between our two businesses began six years ago, during which time there have been several iterations of Harwoods’ website.
Now, the company’s decision to switch to NetDirector Auto V10 has already been rewarded by victory in the “Used Car Website of the Year” category of Car Dealer magazine’s Used Car Awards 2015.
Harwoods’ new NetDirector Auto V10-based website was launched in August, bringing with it a more user-friendly interface and all-important responsive design. Designed in close collaboration with Harwoods, the site also incorporates a variety of new features including an iVendi finance calculator, NetDirector Reevoo consumer reviews, NetDirector CAP Valuations, and Miappi social integration.
These new measures doubtless played a part in Harwoods’ success, and ensured that the judging panel was suitably impressed to choose www.harwoods.uk.com over the other candidates, including formidable competitors such as CarShop and Harvey Cooper Cars. The trophy was presented to Brett Ward, the group’s Marketing Manager, by the television presenter and car dealer Mike Brewer, and Langley Steinert, CEO of the award’s sponsor, CarGuru.
Speaking to Car Dealer magazine, Brett Ward commented; “It means a lot for the team in the office. We don’t put ourselves up for awards but we believe in Car Dealer and what these awards stand for – they’re pretty honest people”.
Mike Brewer himself, meanwhile, had some kind words for the winner and runners-up. “A dealer’s website is their window on the world”, he said. “As a dealer myself, I know how important the internet is these days and our winners do too. Well done!”
