On the 13th and 14th of November, two of GForces’ staff were lucky enough to win a sales challenge that bought them each a ticket to Google’s annual SMB Partner Conference, which this year took place in Paris.
This was the 4th such event and 70 PSP partners were gathered from 23 different countries to learn about key trends, future products and how Google will support them. As a Google AdWords Premier SME Partner, we qualify for this level of insight along with just a few other highly-skilled digital companies. Less than 5% of all Google partners achieve SMB status, demonstrating the exclusivity of events like the SMB Partner Conference. Keynote speakers from Google delivered the latest statistics and goals that Google want their partners to achieve and how they aim to help them get there.
The information gained from this conference will help us to deliver an extremely high quality of paid advertising practice to our clients.
The GForces’ contingent stayed in the Paris Metropolitan Hotel and had a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. During the all-expenses-paid trip, they were extremely well looked after. Each delegate received some exclusive gifts from Google and could even take part in interactive quizzes to try and win a Nexus Tablet. After the conference, our team was given a tour of Paris with the rest of the delegates before arriving at a boat restaurant on the River Seine for a champagne reception, four course meal, awards and then finishing in style with live music for a Google party.
