GForces’ MENA office marks its spectacular first twelve months

On 14th September last year, GForces opened its MENA office in Dubai. In the year since, the bare, featureless office space in the heart of Internet City district has become, in the words of Regional Managing Director Asim Husain, “like a slice of Corbin in the desert”.

In the short time since it was founded, the MENA office has been a magnificent success. 14 staff are now employed at the office, maintaining 58 live sites whilst working on another 18 projects.

The workforce is impressively multilingual, being fluent in seven different languages – an attribute vital for an office that deals with clients based throughout the Arab-speaking world as well as east Africa, Pakistan and even Japan. A close-knit group, the team frequently order in food during the working day (having a somewhat wider choice than that offered by Bearsted or Keresley End) and enjoy dinner together once a month.

Such is the success of the MENA division in the past year that it is already close to outgrowing its original office space, and even more rapid growth is expected in the second year. On behalf of the rest of GForces, we would like to congratulate our colleagues in the MENA office on their successful year and wish them even greater success in the next twelve months.
