Tony Jordan, Dealer Principal at Dorchester Nissan is auctioning a high-spec racing bike signed by six-time gold medallist, Sir Chris Hoy after winning it in a Nissan Motor GB charity raffle in London.
The Hoy Sa Calobra .004 – developed by Sir Chris – is a lightweight aluminium bike which would usually set you back £1,350. However, after having the saddle signed by Sir Chris, and an additional embossed signature on the bike frame, this is now a valuable collector’s item.
All proceeds will go to the Princess Anne Children’s Hospital in Southampton, a cause which is close to Olympic cycling legend’s heart after his prematurely-born son received round-the-clock care at a neonatal intensive care unit like the one at Princess Anne.
Bidding is open until Friday 14th August and can be seen here.
