A major award win in MENA

Chevrolet Alghanim are the exclusive distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in Kuwait, and GForces has been privileged to work with them as part of our long-standing partnership with General Motors in the Middle East. In 2017, we collaborated with Chevrolet Alghanim to deliver an ambitious user-first redesign of their website.  Rather than being just another piece of jargon, user-first puts the wants and needs of website visitors before anything else. This helps create more immersive and satisfying user journeys by putting the information (pricing, specifications and colour charts) and functionality (configurators, service booking widgets, and online payment processing), potential buyers want at their fingertips.

This dedication to putting the customer at the heart of the website’s redesign was recognised at the annual Public Relations and Customer Service Awards, held by Kuwait’s Public Relations Association in February. We’re very pleased to report on their behalf that Chevrolet Alghanim won the “Excellence in Website Services” award.

The awards come under the direct patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and therefore come with considerable honour in both being nominated and awarded.

An impressively quick response time to client queries also proved instrumental in winning the award. Not only does the website therefore perfectly reflect the personalised service you can expect in Alghanim showrooms, but it also allows for unrushed researching and browsing at home. And the fully responsive nature of the website also means the same can be achieved whilst out and about, on smartphones, tablets, and laptops. By its very definition, user-first places considerable weight on convenience to the consumer.

A key aspect of the redesigned website has been the addition of NetDirector® Experience. This state-of-the-art visualiser uses WebGL technology, and again puts consumer convenience first. The global platform delivers real-time vehicle configuration on any device, without the need to download additional software or plugins. With just an open web browser, Chevrolet Alghanim’s digital visitors can customise a vehicle of their choice and even explore some of the car’s functions with ease.

Other experience-enhancing functionality includes the incorporation of Live Chat and service booking. Ultimately, the customer-centric focus that the user-first redesign encourages, makes for simplified navigation and a more rewarding experience.
